Classlink Education is a teaching supply agency that connects schools with qualified teachers, teaching assistants, Cover supervisors, Exam Invigilators and support staff.
Which areas do you cover?
We supply staff to schools across Durham, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Darlington, Gateshead with plans to expand further.
How do I register with Classlink Education?
You can register online by completing our application form, or contact our recruitment team directly.
What documents do I need to register?
We’ll need proof of identity, right-to-work documents, a CV, references, qualifications, and an up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (we can help arrange one if you don’t have it).
Do I need teaching experience to register?
We welcome both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECTs). We also have roles for teaching assistants and cover supervisors.
How quickly can I start working?
Once your registration and safeguarding checks are complete, you could start within days, depending on vacancies.
Do you offer long-term as well as day-to-day supply work?
Yes, we offer both short-term and long-term placements, as well as permanent opportunities.
When will I be paid and how?
You’ll be paid weekly via PAYE, with a payslip showing a full breakdown of your hours.
What types of staff can Classlink Education provide to schools?
We supply qualified teachers, teaching assistants, SEN specialists, cover supervisors, and support staff.
How quickly can you provide staff cover?
We can often arrange same-day supply cover, as well as long-term staffing solutions.
How do you vet your teachers and support staff?
All staff go through rigorous safeguarding checks, including references, right-to-work checks, DBS, and qualification verification.
Can schools request the same teacher again?
Yes, many schools prefer to re-book staff they know, and we’ll always try to accommodate this.
Do you offer emergency last-minute cover?
Yes, we’re available early mornings and throughout the school day to support schools with urgent staffing needs.
How do you ensure safeguarding?
Every candidate undergoes Enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, and safeguarding training in line with statutory requirements.
Do you provide training or CPD for your staff?
Yes, we provide access to ongoing training and professional development to help staff stay up to date.
